How long does a typical quote take?

If you send plans or a clear list of openings via WhatsApp or email, ODG will acknowledge the request and prepare the detailed quote as soon as possible. On-site measurements add a few days depending on your location in the Overberg.

Do you do new builds, renovations, or both?

Both. We work from architect plans for new builds and from on-site measurements for renovations and replacements. We'll also remove and dispose of old frames if needed.

Is double glazing worth it in the Overberg?

For wind noise, winter warmth and reducing condensation on the cold coastal side, it is often worth pricing — especially along the south-coast stretch through Struisbaai, L'Agulhas, Arniston and Gansbaai where the southerly really pushes through. The main benefit is comfort first, with energy savings depending on the home.

Which aluminium systems do you use?

Crealco (Wispeco) is our primary system — widest parts and hardware network in South Africa, so future repairs and replacements stay straightforward. For specific sections, hardware and innovative components we also work with Sheerline, Kell & Kell Nova, Conways and GHI.

Is Swift 30.5 the same as Case 30.5?

Yes — same system, new name. Wispeco renamed Case 30.5 to Swift 30.5 so that the genuine Crealco system is clearly distinguishable from inferior imported copies still sold under the old name. If you've been quoted on "Case 30.5" before, it's the same profile we fabricate today as Swift 30.5.

Do you handle plaster repair around new openings?

On request, yes. If an installation disturbs the surrounding plaster, we can include the repair as an add-on rather than you having to line up a separate trade — it's quoted separately so you can choose either way.

Can you add security bars or gates to existing frames?

Yes. We supply and install Xpanda security gates, fixed and retractable burglar bars and polycarbonate ClearBars — either as part of a new installation or retrofitted to existing openings.

Do you do commercial shopfronts?

Yes. The Crealco Clip 44 shopfront system handles most retail, office and hospitality fronts. Contact us with plans or a floor layout for a quote.

Which garage doors do you supply?

Aluminium sectional doors — smooth or woodgrain panel finishes, in any standard or custom RAL colour to match your home's window and door frames. Manual operation as standard, with automated motors, remotes and safety beams available. Single, double and custom widths to suit your opening.
